Fuld beskrivelse

We are looking for a Group Sustainability Project Specialist to play a key role in establishing structure, transparency, and strong governance across the ACCSION programme.

ACCSION is Aalborg Portland’s project to build Denmark’s largest facility to capture and store CO2, making the plant carbon neutral on its own emissions.

Working closely with the Project Director, PMO, workstream leads, and Value Chain Partners, you will help ensure that the programme is effectively planned, controlled, and reported.

You will bring together project information, identify risks and deviations, and turn complex data into clear insights that support good management decisions.

A central part of the role will be developing and continuously improving the project controls framework for ACCSION. This includes planning and scheduling, KPIs, forecasting, reporting, governance, and standardised processes across the programme and its partners.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that project information is well organised, traceable, and audit‑ready. This includes maintaining document structures and version control, as well as supporting documentation related to funding, subsidies, procurement, contracts, tenders, and key project decisions.

In this role, you will establish and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, KPIs, forecasts, and management reporting. Provide the Project Director and leadership team with analysis and decision‑support information. Identify risks, deviations, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Develop and standardise project controls, governance processes, reporting structures, and management tools. Coordinate information and reporting across workstreams, internal teams, and Value Chain Partners. Maintain robust document control and ensure a clear audit trail across the programme.

Support the PMO and workstreams in meeting governance, reporting, and documentation requirements.

About you

You are a structured and analytical project professional who enjoys bringing clarity to complex projects. You have an eye for detail but also understand the bigger picture and what management needs to make informed decisions.

You bring: A relevant degree in engineering, project management, finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Project Controls, PMO, or large‑scale technical projects. Strong experience with planning, scheduling, forecasting, risk, change, cost, and management reporting.

Experience developing project controls or governance frameworks. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools. Experience from large EPC, engineering, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage. Excellent written and spoken business‑level English.

PMP, IPMA, or equivalent certification is an advantage. Most importantly, you are someone who takes ownership, creates structure, and is comfortable working across different teams and organisations.

You communicate clearly, challenge when needed, and are motivated by making complex projects more transparent and manageable.

We offer an ambitious, international and professional workplace that, with its high level of professionalism, continually focuses on the employees’ professional and personal development through structured development interviews. For the right candidates, there are also many internal career opportunities.

We are an informal workplace with a focus on close collaboration, knowledge sharing and free dialogue. In addition, we have a working environment characterized by freedom with responsibility and flexibility.
